Last week, I wrote a little message as an introduction to a great prayer resource I recently came across. The National Eucharistic Revival happening with our neighbours South of the border has produced a wonderful resource of prayer and reflection for each Sunday of Advent and into the Christmas season which are timely and relevant to the Sundays. I think God was providing me something good to promote. So for the Sundays and feast days going forward for a number of weeks, my "message" spot in the bulletin will consist of these great resources to aid in prayer and reflection. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
For this week, I'll post the first and second Sunday's of Advent, last week's and this week's reflections. Going forward, I'll be posting just the single reflection in time for the occasion. If you would like, you can find the complete document here with all of the reflections for Advent and Christmas which have been produced and provided by the National Eucharistic Revival. In addition to the Eucharistic Prayer Companion resource for Advent and Christmas, there are many other great reflections and articles you can find at their website: https://www.eucharisticrevival.org/blog.
Here is the Eucharistic Prayer Companion for the 1st and 2nd Sundays of Advent.
We continue to wait in joyful hope for the coming of the Lord! Come, Lord Jesus!
